Congratulations Your Invited to TESTING!

I want to take this time to explain our next testing and belt ceremony:

· TESTING DATES:

· Thursday, Mar. 11, 2010 in New Castle

· BabyDojo 5:30-6:00pm

· TAP Kid’s and Adults 6:00-7:15pm

· Friday, Mar. 12, 2010 in Slippery Rock

· BabyDojo 5:30-6:00pm

· TAP Kid’s and Adults 6:00-7:15pm

· TESTING COST:  (15% Late Fee if not paid 1 Week prior to testing 3-4-2010)

· 15% Late Fee if not paid 1 Week prior to testing

· BabyDojo Ages 4-6 = $20.00

· TAP Members (White-Red-Black) = $45.00

· ITA Annual Membership Fee = $30.00 ($20.00 each for additional family members)

· Black Belt Test = $300 for 1st DAN, $400 for 2nd Dan, $500 for 3rd Dan

· TESTING INFO:

· ITA Membership is required for Taekwondo testers.  You must fill in the ITA application available online in the documents folder.  Submit application at first testing with testing fee.

· Testing may be done at either location without penalty.

· All students are required to wear the complete white uniform with the TAP Patch and ITA Patch

· All students should be neat in appearance, having all nails trimmed, hair combed and uniform clean.

· Testers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to testing and should immediately begin practicing.

· Parent’s and Friends of students are permitted to video tape and take pictures during the testing and may ask to get pictures with instructors after the belt ceremony which will occur immediately after testing.  Certificates of rank will be handed out in class.

· If for some reason you cannot attend the testing please notify an instructor to schedule a make-up testing date.  Make ups may be scheduled during the next week of classes with an additional 15% fee charged.  Make up testings will also require a written essay and physical fitness requirement.  NO BLACK BELT MAKE-UPS, if you miss for any reason you must wait until the next available test date...this includes midterms.  Black Belts must have 100 classes per year for testing!

· ____ I have met my 18 class minimum

· ____ I have earned all 6 stripes on my belt and have passed mock testing

· ____ I have met my 100 class a year minimum

· ____ I have filled out a Black Belt Testing Application (Required for testings only not midterms)

· ____ I have filled out an ITA Black Belt Testing Application

Finally, I wish to say congratulations to all the students selected to present their martial arts knowledge, you’ve done a great job and we hope for your continued growth in the martial arts.  If you have any questions or concerns please ask an instructor we will be glad to answer them for you.

· CLOSED:  We will be closed the Saturday after testing March 13th.  Xtreme Team members will be at the Pittsburgh Karate Championships in New Kensington, PA.
